Fiqh in Islam is known as “Islamic jurisprudence,” one of the dynamic disciplines, dealing with the practical regulations and rules of the sharīʿah.In other words, fiqh is the legal dimension of Islam and increased expansion of the sharīʿah laws.In this course, the students are taught basic Islamic injunctions concerning everyday worship, invocations, purification and basic pillars of Islam, thus enabling them to understand the commandments of Islam and their observance.The syllabus is divided into Fiqh Essentials and Advanced Topics that cover the opinions of the four prominent schools (Malki, Shafi, Hanfi and Hanbali).
